General Notary Services
General Affidavits
We administer oaths and notarize signatures for written statements used in civil court documents, school district residency verification forms, and government-required identity confirmation affidavits. Common examples include name change attestations and financial support declarations.
Travel Consent Letters
Protect minors traveling internationally without both parents by obtaining notarized consent letters, specifically required by US Customs, Canadian Border Services, and major airlines like American and United. These documents prevent potential custody disputes and child abduction concerns.
Personal Contracts
Strengthen personal agreements through notarized acknowledgments for roommate agreements, personal loans, vehicle sales between individuals, and property rental contracts. Our notarization confirms signer identity with government-issued photo ID and ensures voluntary participation without coercion.
Document Certification
We certify photocopies as true copies of non-public records including Pennsylvania driver's licenses, US passports, academic diplomas, and birth certificates. These certified copies are accepted for employment verification, college applications, and immigration proceedings where originals cannot be surrendered.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring for notarization?
You must bring valid, unexpired government-issued photo identification (PA driver's license, US passport, military ID) and the unsigned document(s) requiring notarization. All signers must appear in person. For real estate closings, please bring all loan documents provided by your lender. If using our mobile service, ensure you have a flat surface for document signing and adequate lighting.
Which documents require witnesses?
In Pennsylvania, wills, living wills, and powers of attorney typically require two witnesses. Healthcare directives need two witnesses who are not your healthcare providers. For real estate transactions, some mortgage documents require one witness. We can provide witnesses at no additional charge when scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Can you notarize non-English documents?
Yes, we can notarize documents in foreign languages including Spanish, French, Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic. The notary must be able to communicate with you about the document's purpose and your understanding of it, but doesn't need to understand the entire content. For complex documents, we will use a translator to assist us in helping complete the forms. An additional charge may be added due to the time it may take to translate documents into another language other than English or Spanish. We'll note the language of the document in our journal entry.
Are there requirements for remote notarization?
Pennsylvania now allows remote online notarization (RON) for certain documents. You'll need a computer with video capability, stable internet connection, valid ID, and must pass Knowlogic identity verification protocols (including knowledge-based authentication questions). Remote sessions cost $25 per notarization plus $5 per additional signature. Note that some documents, particularly certain real estate transactions and wills, still require in-person notarization under Pennsylvania law.
Notary Knowledge Center
Our comprehensive Knowledge Center offers guides on Pennsylvania notarization requirements for common documents including deeds, powers of attorney, and affidavits. Access step-by-step tutorials on preparing real estate closings, vehicle transfers, and healthcare directives. We regularly update our resources with changing Pennsylvania notary laws and provide printable checklists to ensure all signers bring required identification and supporting documentation to their appointments.
